PRESENTATION 

«Ticontre» deals with literary critics and textual analysis, history of literature, theory of literature, comparative literature, translation studies. Each article is submitted to a doubleblind scholarly peer review. Since its foundation in 2014, «Ticontre» published nine issues with no delay, adding up to145 articles.

Thirty per cent of them are written in a language other than Italian. Authors belong to more than 70 universities, half of which are abroad. The Editorial Sta୯f is large and varied and its members belong to numerous institutions; three (out of seven) members of the Committee Board are young researchers; the Scientific Committee has an international composition. «Ticontre» appears in the anvur (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca) official list of scientific journals and in the erih plus index.

The journal consists of a monographic section, which changes at every issue and of three ୰fixed sections: Essays – containing academic articles on di୯ferent topics –; Theory and practice of Translation – is the section devoted to translation studies, publishing original translations of literary texts (both poetry and prose) provided with a critical commentary –; and Reprints, which gives spaces to works that are either very important for the scientific community, or for the history of a literary ୰field and have never been translated into Italian or are no longer available in their ୰first printed editions.

Authors interested in submitting a proposal for «Ticontre», xi (May 2019) may send an abstract of maximum 500 words, together with a bio-bibliographical profile (max 150 words), at proposal@ticontre.org by September 10th. The Editorial Staff will give a feedback about the selection by September 27th. Completed articles will be expected not later than December 14th and they will undergo peer review before publication.
